The GREENTEC Turbidity Curtain System is a flexible, impermeable barrier used to trap sediment in water bodies. The upper hem has flotation material and the lower hem has ballast material. They are intended for construction work adjacent to a water resource to contain sediment within the work area. They allow suspended sediment at a dredging site to settle out of the water column in a controlled area, therefor minimizing the area that is affected by the increased suspended sediment usually present at a dredging site.
