Scope of use
The Allproof Vision Shower Channel has been designed to provide an aesthetic look for tiled floor showers utilising a waterproof membrane layer below the finished tile surface. This membrane is dressed onto the Allproof specially designed VF80 flange allowing for subsurface moisture to be drained.
The channel can be used against a wall with a fall created towards the channel and/or a level threshold channel on entrance to a walk-in shower.
The channel can be customised to specific lengths and extra outlets included for areas requiring higher drainage capacity.

Allproof Level threshold solutions are designed to allow level entry to building and be fully compliant with New Zealand standards set out in Building Code E2, External Moisture, 7.3 Level threshold.
Our Bolted Bracket system requires a 200mm wide x 150mm high channel cast during the external concrete pour as per E2's requirements.
This channel when being formed also requires a "1:200 minimum fall along length of channel towards a drainage outlet" which our adjustable legs can be set in order provide a level entry on the surface.
The code also requires a 12mm drip line between the building and grate, we have designed and fitted our unique 12mm rubber spacers to our product to ensure that this is maintained.
The product has and can make available the following additional evidence to support the above statements:
Use in Service History
We have installed this system on multiple high profile situations including government buildings, residential and commercial facilities.
The Allproof Vision Series is constructed from high grade stainless steel in New Zealand. We have off the shelf sizes available in 800, 900, 1000 and 1200mm all coming with an Allproof floor waste gully system and VF80 flange.
Allproof also customise channels catering for varied lengths with multiple and/or offset outlet positions catering to specific project requirements.
The Vision series can be further customised with powder coated clours or electroplated metal collection finishes to create continuity and consistency with other fittings within the bathroom design.
The system utilises a specially designed VF80
flange that is recessed flush into the base of a channel created on site, the
waterproofing membrane is then dressed into the recess and onto the flange
completely tanking the wet area. The flange has been designed to provide a high
quality surface for bonding the waterproof membrane to and ensures that all
subsurface moisture collected by the waterproof membrane is directed into the
outlet. The stainless steel channel is set into the recess, levelled and secured
using a porous compound before being tiled up against with a bead of silicon
applied between the tile and channel edge.
The grate has been designed to be easily removable for access to the outlet for any maintenance requirements and cleaning of the channel.
Please see Allproof Stainless Steel maintenance guide for the cleaning and treatment of the product, please note this is for aesthetic purposes and does not effect the performance of the system.
Please see allproof.co.nz for individual component warranty information.
