Product Description
ExtraTread is a prestigious aluminium and carpet strip mat with extra wide intense wear Zeno Protect Excellence polyamide infills and an ultra-low 10mm design. Dirt is trapped in specially corrugated rails and the extra width of the heavy wear infills provides an additional 37 percent of clean-off and drying power than other comparable mats. Moulded continuous vinyl cushion feet eliminate mat noise.
ExtraTread mats are all custom-made to clients’ specifications. Any shape or size can be made without losing structural integrity and larger size mats are made in fully interlocking sections for easy onsite assembly.
A wide range of insert colours and the option of plain or powdercoated rails allow you to customise this mat to suit the most prestigious entranceways.
ExtraTread is designed for all commercial entrances, such as airports, shopping malls, hotels, retail shops, showrooms, educational facilities and offices, where presentation and durability are of equal importance.

Maintenance requirements
Regular maintenance of ExtraTread is important to keep ExtraTread
effective and looking attractive for years.
ExtraTread does not have to be removed for cleaning as
dirt cannot drop through.
Daily Maintenance: Daily vacuum thoroughly with a
powerful vacuum cleaner, preferably with power driven brushes, working
lengthwise along the infills. This agitates the pile to loosen the dirt.
Periodic Maintenance: A routine visual inspection will
identify when ExtraTread is becoming full of dirt. It can then be cleaned with a water spray
extraction method. ExtraTread can be scrubbed with a machine or by hand along
the direction of the infills only. In cases of staining, household solvents may
be used, but must only be applied to a rag and then rubbed onto the mat. Do not pour solvents directly onto the mat as
a breakdown of the infill adhesive may result. Only use chemicals suitable for
the cleaning of carpets, following the manufacturer's instructions.
A maintenanceinstruction sheet is available.
Warrantees
ExtraTread has a 20 year warranty on wear
and performance, stairs excepted, conditional on the product being installed
and maintained according to the manufacturers recommendations.
