AL15 HDD  is an extra heavy duty aluminium and infill entrance mat which is  specifically designed to remove water from entrances simply and effectively.   It does not just flood water and debris under the mat, but channels it to specific disposal points that can be incorporated into a drainage plan,

We can help with a simple and effective design that will keep under mat areas, clean and dry, while disposing of surface water to a single drain point or a threshold drain..

AL15 HDD   mat infills are covered by our standard 5-year wear warranty for infills and 20-year frame warranty with low cost infill replacement.

Scope of use

Ideally used in busy entranceways, 15WD is designed to remove and contain water as well as dirt, keeping interiors both clean and. dry

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

 ALUMAT 15 WD is an acceptable solution exceeding minimum slip resistance  of 0.4 when dry and wet.

Use in Service History

The polypropylene infills used are manufactured by Vebe Floor Coverings in the Netherlands, and have been widely used throughout Europe and many other countries for many years.

Product Criteria

Design requirements

Alumat 15 WD should be fitted in a mat well 15mm to 20mm deep. It is fully rubber backed to give good support and comfort, but must be installed over a hard level surface. Can be installed inside or exposed situations  if required.

Can be connected to drain for complete water removal

Installation requirements

Floor surfaces are to be clean , dry and level to receive the mats.  In matwells or recesses created by surrounding tiles, the mat may be placed in position. For exterior situations, dowel and screw fixing if required should be used by uplifting infill near an edge.

In any exterior situation the mats must be screw fixed for safety.

Maintenance requirements

Warrantees

All Alumat aluminium and infill mats have a minimum warranty for five years against faulty materials and/or workmanship subject to normal wear and tear. Alumat15WD, is an extra heavy gauge profile and has a 20 year warranty that the frames will  be able to be refurbished for the duration of the warranty subject to correct installation and maintenance..
