Product Description

Thermo Block® ‘FR’ is a 100% blockout fabric range constructed from polyester yarn with a ‘soft to the touch’ foamed acrylic coating providing light, heat and UV control.

The collection covers a variety of fabrics offering one or more of the following qualities:

Fire retardant - All fabrics are fully compliant with the NZ Building Code and a Flammability Index (FI) of no greater than 8.
Indoor Environment Quality – enhanced by Thermo Block® FR fabrics offering complete visible light and solar protection and effectively reducing VLT (Visual Light Transmission) scores to close to zero.
Certified for low VOC emissions – Some fabrics do not contain harmful substances, offer protection from internal heat gain and carry certification from GreenGuard and Oeko-Tex to evidence this low VOC status.

NZGBC ‘Greenstar’ program points may be qualified from the following qualities:

PVC Free certified - one point
EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) – may contribute one potential point
