Scope of use
Triton Hygiene™ is ideal for use in commercial kitchens,
food bars, school food tech rooms, abattoirs, pharmaceutical
areas for the control of background noise levels and
reverberation times.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(c)
- Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.4(a)
- Clause G3 Food preparation and prevention of contamination: Performance G3.3.2(a)

Design requirements
Triton Hygiene 25™ is ideal for cafes, restaurants, school food tech rooms, medical/dental centres and pharmaceutical areas for the control of background noise levels and reverberation times.
Available with optional foil backing to resist water damage from condensation in plenum.
Installation requirements
Shall not commence until the building is water tight and dry.
Light fittings shall be independently supported, use hold down clips in areas of wind uplift.
For suspended ceilings, it is recommended that air grilles be installed in the ceiling to balance air pressure differentials. Not for air return plenums.
Follow industry standard installation methods for two way exposed ceiling systems, for seismic design please consult a structural engineer.
Maintenance requirements
May be cleaned with a damp soapy cloth, clean away residual soap and dry after cleaning. Not suitable for high pressure water blast cleaning techniques.
