SRP Wall Strapping System is designed for strapping and lining of concrete/ pre-cast, masonry, block or brick walls/ pillars. In order to achieve an optimum level surface finish, the SRP adjustable clips/ battens are used for levelling, prior to plasterboard/ lining installation.
SRP Ceiling Batten/ Furring Channel, sizes are: 16mm, 22mm, 22mm (Wide 50mm face), 28mm, 35mm.
1) Adjustable Wall Fix Clips to suit either: 22/35mm or 16/28mm battens.
2) Zero Bracket with Rivnut/ Adjustable bolt (lengths: 65, 80, 100, 120, 150mm), or threaded rod (Seismic fix option).
3) Acoustic ST-001 Clips to suit either 16mm or 28mm battens.
Designed for levelling, strapping and lining of concrete/ pre-cast, masonry, block or brick walls - often the internal side of building external walls, both sides of 'concrete' intertenancy walls or alternatively exposed concrete pillars etc.
These above types of substrates are often uneven, and so require levelling-out prior to wall lining, in order to achieve a reasonable level surface finish. Also, there are often other building products/ components which need to be encapsulated within the wall (thickness), such as insulation and electrical or plumbing cables, conduits, and service pipelines of varying diameter/ dimensions.
B1/ VM1 An Engineered design is required - this needs to be done by a suitably qualified Engineer, who can also provide a PS-1.
SRP uses GALVSTEEL® manufactured by New Zealand Steel. The continuous hot-dip galvanized Zinc coating conforms to the industry standard required for this application; Z275 (275 g/m2 total). New Zealand Steel made GALVSTEEL® for framing is backed by a 50-year Durability Statement to demonstrate compliance with NZBC Clause B2-Durability, when used and maintained as referred to in the current New Zealand Steel’s Durability Statement.
