Scope of use
Window shrouds are designed to be placed on the exterior of a home, and will feature around a window. Their primary use is for sun shading and privacy however they can be used to add a unique feature to a home.
Our fixings details allow for large spans capable of high wind loads and the ability to hold weight if climbed upon.

Ability to fix through any cladding type.

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

Design to manufacturer specifications.
Suitable for a wide range of fixing substrates and a low maintenance solution to timber.
Installation requirements
To be installed as per manufactures specifications as per technical drawings and fixing details provided.
Ensure adequate fixing is in place and minimum depth of fixings achieved. As well as maximum spans adhered to during construction.
Always waterproof any penetration's into a building.
Maintenance requirements
To maintain the appearance and protective properties of your powder coated surfaces you need to routinely clean the surface to remove dirt and grime.All you need is a gentle clean with a soft brush and mild detergent, followed by a fresh water rinse.In normal environments cleaning should occur every 12 months, in coastal areas or environments, cleaning should occur every 3 months. In beachfront, marine environments cleaning should be increased to monthly.
