Mapeflex MS45 is a thixotropic adhesive and sealant made from sililated polymers and thus completely free of silicone and isocyanates
Compared with polyurethane products, Mapeflex MS45 is easier to extrude and smooth over with a wider application temperature range, does not blister during damp conditions, is more resistant to UV rays, hardens quicker, with a longer shelf life and is available in handy plastic cartridges
Compared to neutral silicone products, Mapeflex MS45 forms a better bond on compact and absorbent substrates, drastically reduces dirt collection on the surface, offers better mechanical properties and may be painted over with conventional elastomeric paint products
WHERE TO USE
Mapeflex MS45 can be used as a sealant or adhesive and has been specially developed for sealing expansion, fillet and distribution joints, is recommended to form internal and external flexible bonds between similar and dissimilar materials and to replace or integrate mechanical fasteners
