Product Description
Glass Vice® Southern Lites Aluminium Balustrade systems are designed to provide a range of modern design options for Semi Frameless Glass Balustrades for the New Zealand market. The Direct Fix and Side fixed systems can be fixed to a variety of deck types, such as timber, concrete, steel and waterproof membranes. Glass Vice® has a solution for all balustrade requirements.
Our Semi Frameless glass systems are specified to rigorous engineering standards and are tested independently to ensure that the highest standards are met, surpassed and maintained.
Glass Vice ® Southern Lites meet B1 B2 F2 and F4. All PS1 Design documentation available on request.

Scope of use

The Glass is fixed in place by an 50mm modular aluminium railing which encompasses the top and sides. The aluminium can be powder coated to provide the desired finish.

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

Product Criteria
Design requirements
Southern Lites provides a semi frameless option for balustrades and Pool Fencing. The system requires side and top railing for strength and durability in line with building code. The system is able to be Top Fixed and also side fixed to Concrete or timber.
The Glass is fixed in place by an 50mm modular aluminium railing which encompasses the top and sides. The aluminium can be powder coated to provide the desired finish.
Installation requirements
Installation will differ from residential balustrades to commercial as well as pool fencing so please refer to website for installation requirements.
