There are two heights in the smooth weatherboard range, each with its own individual characteristics to ensure that the desired look is achieved. Hardie™ Plank Weatherboards are in the acceptable solutions category of the New Zealand Building Code (E2/AS1).
Hardie™ Plank Weatherboards can be used on buildings that fall within the scope of NZS 3604 and the NZBC Acceptable Solution E2/AS1 paragraph 1.1. Can be used in both direct fixed and cavity construction methods as per risk score analysis.
