Scope of use
Roofing Industries Trimrib® roofing and wall cladding system for use on commercial and residential buildings within the following scope:
When used for roofing: Trimrib® may be used with a minimum roof gradient of 3 degrees.
When used as a wall cladding:
installed vertically or horizontally, Roofing Industries Trimrib to be fixed on a drained and ventilated cavity, where the risk score 7 - 20 calculation relies on the NZBC E2/AS1.
Trimrib® is available in clear sheeting (GRP) in matching profile.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B1 Structure: Performance B1.3.3(a), B1.3.3(b), B1.3.3(g), B1.3.3(h)
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(b), B2.3.1(c)
- Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.9
- Clause E2 External moisture: Performance E2.3.1, E2.3.2
- Clause G12 Water supplies: Performance G12.3.2

C Fire:
- ColorCote® Zinacore™ is rated as a Group 1-S when tested in accordance with ISO 5660:2002 Part 1 and Part 2.
- ColorCote® Magnaflow™ is rated as a Group 1-S when tested in accordance with ISO 5660:2002 Part 1 and Part 2
- ColorCote® Alumigard™ is rated as a Group 1-S when tested in accordance with ISO 5660:2002 Part 1 and Part 2
- Colorsteel® Maxx® is rated as a Group 1-S when tested in accordance with ISO 5660:2002 Part 1 and Part 2.
- Colorsteel® Endura® is rated as a Group 1-S when tested in accordance with ISO 5660:2002 Part 1 and Part 2.
G12 Drinking Water: ColorCote® Zinacore™ - Magnaflow™ - Alumigard™ and Colorsteel® Endura® - Maxx® - Altimate® samples tested in accordance with AS/NZS 4020:2005 passed the requirements for products in contact with drinking water.

To comply with the performance clause of NZBC clause E2 roof cladding to be installed in accordance with:

Roof cladding to be installed in accordance with acceptable solution E2:AS1 clause, Structure and table for the wind zone at the specific site location. For additional information refer to NZMRM Code of Practice for Maximum span and fastener requirements.
