Volclay Seamtape is a thick premium butyl rubber tape primarily used to seal Volclay Ultraseal BT and Swelltite membrane overlap seams.
Volclay Seamtape is a 2" (50 mm) wide by 25 mil (0.64mm) thick butyl rubber tape used to seal waterproofing membrane overlap seams. Volclay Seamtape consists of 20 mils (0.50 mm) of black adhesive butyl compound integrally bonded to a 5 mil (0.14 mm) thick polyethyl-ene film.
The inherent adhesive and waterproofing properties of the tape effectively seals the liner face of Swelltite at the membrane overlaps. Seamtape provides good chemical resistance and excellent moisture barrier properties. Its flexibility allows the tape to be easily installed on irregular surface conditions
