BlackSeal Elastic is a one part, water based, brush applied bitumen emulsion, for use in residential construction as a waterproofing membrane for basements and retaining walls. Mainly used over precast / instu concrete and masonry blockwork.
The product is BRANZ appraised (No. 770 ; 2018) and meets clauses B2 Durability 50 years, E2 External Moisture and F2 Hazardous Building Materials. The product must be applied by a Licensed Building Practitioner who has been certified by Sika.
Do not use in water retaining structures, or where exposed to UV.
