The wood fire is still the most affordable form of home heating, and the Warmington Southern Series fires were designed with the cold conditions of the South Island in mind. The double burning system heats by both convection and radiant method, allowing the fires to be used for both cooking and heating.
The Lewis woodburner is the smallest of the Southern Series range and meets the required New Zealand standards for emission control. It's a convectional stove with a double skin feature, ensuring the outer skin stays relatively cooler than a full radiation stove and is therefore a safer option.
