Installation requirements
A minimum concrete surround is required to meet load capacity requirements, please see documentation available on our website allproof.com.
Channels are set to height on a bed of concrete to achieve required embedment and finished paving height.
We suggest that site concrete is used to haunch the channel into position and prevent movement during concrete placement.
It is important to support the channel from the weight
of the setting concrete by having either the original
grates, or appropriate bracing in place.
Protect grates from concrete contamination during
installation by wrapping in plastic or masking tape.
Alternatively, timber infills to match grate width can be installed during concrete pour to maintain channel design width.
Chemicals used during installation and finishing may react with a galvanised edge and/or grates, please ensure this has been catered for or a stainless steel finish may be required.
Maintenance requirements
Please see http://www.allproof.com.au/maintenance for all maintenance advice.
All grates are removable and regular cleaning and removal of debris is advised to maintain the channel function.
Sumps require regular cleaning as per E1 stipulation.
