Hanging Gardens Living Wall System is
modular and versatile and can be designed to fit the dimensions of each
installation.
The substrate for an interior living wall must be protected
with a waterproof membrane.
Each living wall is constructed with fabric
garden pockets that are suspended using marine grade 316 stainless steel rods,
rigging and fixtures. The garden pockets
base material is made from HDPE and is UV stabilized, fray and tear resistant, washable
and guaranteed for 15 years.
Hanging Gardens removable felt pockets contain
the soil-based growing medium for individual plants. The felt pockets are made from 100% polyester
felt and nylon waterproofing membrane. The felt pockets provide good soil
depth, retain moisture and keep roots aerated to ensure plant health.
Quick to install the systems are light
weight – approx 35 kg/sq m with mature plants & fully saturated.
Installations can include automated
irrigation systems &
drip drays.
