“ACC” deep pan access covers were designed to an Auckland City Council specification for their shared space upgrade throughout Auckland’s CBD. Since their introduction, they have been installed in projects throughout New Zealand.
The covers are designed to take 80mm with 5mm mortar to finish flush with ground level and no additional edging. This allows the cover to be rated to load class D (AS 3996) and have continuity from the surrounding pavement. The narrow ductile edge and lifting bosses minimalises visual impact in streetscaping applications.
Covers are available as a single-part (clear opening 674x684mm), two-part (clear opening 674x1462mm), or multi-part.
