Technical Statement

Product Description

QuARTz by ACO bathroom drainage solutions inspire creative bathroom planning. ShowerChannel is available in 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1200 and 1400mm lengths with centre and end outlets and a selection of 8 grates. The channel and grates are manufactured from 304 stainless steel and custom lengths are available on request.

ShowerPoint is a centre waste with a 50mm diameter vertical outlet with a boltless lockable grate mechanism. The body is made from chromed ASB and is 150mm square.

CentrePoint is a centre waste with a 100mm diameter vertical outlet with a boltless lockable grate mechanism. The 150mm square body is available in both chromed ASB and stainless steel. Matching grates are available for centre wastes and ShowerChannels.

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

WaterMark is granted to products that comply with ATS 5200.040,AS/NZS 3500 and certified in accordance with ISO/IEC Guide 67,System 1B. QuARTz by ACO products are certified to conform.

Installation requirements

ACO DRAIN grated trench drain systems must be encased in a concrete surround. Specific site conditions may require an increase in these dimensions or reinforcement. Ensure the concrete encasement is designed for the application. Engineering advice may be required.

Maintenance requirements

Please see http://www.aco.co.nz for all maintenance advice. All grates are removable and regular cleaning and removal of debris is advised to maintain the channel function.
