Used as a part of an integrated smoke control system, these smoke curtains are essentially a roller blind with a heat resistant fabric. In the event of a fire, an electronic signal allows the curtain to unroll at a controlled rate to a pre-set height, even in a power outage.
These automatic smoke curtains are gravity fail safe and individual curtains can be installed adjacent to one another to give a continuous bank of curtains.
By limiting the spread and leakage of smoke, the curtains help maintain visibility and air quality during an emergency, supporting safer and more efficient evacuation.
