Suitable for use around cables, cable bundles, metal pipes, and tightly packed services in plasterboard, masonry, concrete, timber, and other common construction types. Protecta FR Putty Cord should be used for interior applications in fire-rated walls and floors where protection against the spread of fire, smoke, and sound through apertures and service penetrations is required.
The product must be installed in accordance with the relevant tested and assessed systems to AS 1530.4:2014 and AS 4072.1:2005. Suitable substrates include concrete, masonry, gypsum construction materials.

Products must not be modified in any way that may compromise performance. All fire-rated service penetrations must be labelled in accordance with AS 4072.1:2005.
Protecta products should be stored in a clean, dry location and kept in their original packaging prior to installation.
Protecta passive fire protection products have no specific maintenance requirements. Damaged products should be repaired or replaced to maintain the required FRR of the fire-rated system.
