Scope of Use
The Mulcol Multicollar Slim is assessed to AS 1530.4:2014 and AS 4072.1:2005 for use in fire-rated wall and floor systems. Designed for fire- and smoke-resistant sealing around service penetrations, it is suitable for plastic, composite, soundproof and metal pipes, air-conditioning pipes, and electrical services. The compact 30mm-high stainless steel collar contains a high-performance graphite intumescent inlay that expands under heat to seal openings created by melting services during fire exposure. Featuring 174 separable segments for flexible sizing, the Multicollar Slim is suitable for both new build and retrofit applications and is used with Mulcol Multimastic SP sealant for smoke-proof sealing. Multiclips and Multiscrews are included for installation.. All installations must comply with tested or assessed systems to AS1530.4:2014 and AS4072.1:2005.
