Scope of Use
FIRESTOP Duct Wrap-25 is designed for passive fire protection of smaller circular metal HVAC and kitchen extract ducts up to 300mm diameter where ducts penetrate fire-rated walls and floors. Suitable for use in plasterboard, masonry, and concrete constructions, the system helps maintain the fire resistance of compartment walls and floors while reducing the spread of fire and smoke between compartments. Designed for internal fire exposure applications only, the system consists of a 25mm thick fire-rated insulation blanket used in conjunction with FIRESTOP Weld Pins, FIRESTOP Straps, and FIRESTOP Embossed Tape as part of the tested assembly. All installations must comply with tested or assessed systems to AS 1530.4:2014 and AS 4072.1:2005. Refer to firestopcentre.co.nz for FC tech drawings, product information, and test reports.

FIRESTOP Duct Wrap-25 has been tested to AS1430.4:2014 and AS4702.1:2005.

AS 4072.1:2005, providing fire resistance ratings (FRR) when applied to
fire-rated substrates in accordance with the relevant tested system, tech drawings and product information.
