Scope of Use
Suitable to be used in domestic or commercial wet areas and fixed directly to wooden or steel frame
and concrete walls. The surface can hold up to 60kg of tiles per square meter.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B1 Structure: Performance B1.3.1, B1.3.2
B1 MECHANICAL / ADHESION PROPERTIES The Aquamox Wall Backer Board and Shower Base
Systems (AWBB&SB systems) meets the requirements of Performance B1.3.1 and B1.3.2.
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(b)
B2 DURABILITY Performance B2.3.1 (b) 15 years. The AWBB&SB will meet this requirement.
- Clause E3 Internal moisture: Performance E3.3.3, E3.3.4, E3.3.5
E3 INTERNAL MOISTURE Performances E3.3.3. E3.3.4 & E3.3.5 Wet area showers and walls
incorporating the AWBB&SB systems will meet this requirement.
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1
F2 HAZARDOUS BUILDING MATERIALS Performance F2.3.1. The AWBB&SB will not present a health
hazard to people.

installed and maintained in accordance with the statements and conditions of this Appraisal
