Product Description
Pyrocrete™ 40 is a single pack powder component mixed with clean, potable water before application.
Pyrocrete™ 40 is intended for application to interior and exterior concealed or visible structural columns, beams, joists, decks, walls, roofs, girders, floors and pre-cast concrete units. It is tested and certified for fire resistance ratings up to 4 hours.
Features:
- Fire resistance for steel sections assessed in accordance with BS 476
- Provides protection for steel I-sections, hollow beams and columns up to 240 FRR (4 hours)
- Non-combustible high density cementitious fireproofing
- Pyrocrete™ 40 is normally left as a sprayed textured finish however it can be troweled to a smooth finish
Pyrocrete™ 40 is suitable for direct exposure to weather and water contact. It has excellent durability and toughness.
