Product Description
Axis is an interlocking modular entrance matting system with water-absorbent, intense wear infills. These Zeno Protect Excellence polyamide carpet infills in a tile design efficiently remove dirt and water from footwear approaching from all directions. Specially designed dirt collection zones make cleaning quick and easy.
The modular design allows the PVC tiles to be cut to shape and size onsite for easy installation. To extend the mat, simply clip on more modules. The larger the mat, the better it will perform. The safety of Axis matting is unbeatable. It is anti-slip in all conditions, specially designed to eliminate heel traps, and wheelchair compliant when the proprietary matwell system is used.
Axis is ideal for entranceways with high density foot traffic, such as shops, malls, hotels, offices, hospitals, airports, and schools. Performance is best when used indoors or in weather-protected areas.

Maintenance requirements
Regular maintenance of Axis is important to keep Axis
effective and looking attractive for years.
Axis does not have to be removed for cleaning as dirt cannot
drop through.
Daily Maintenance: Daily vacuum thoroughly with a
powerful vacuum cleaner, preferably with power driven brushes, working
lengthwise along the infills. This agitates the pile to loosen the dirt.
Periodic Maintenance: A routine visual inspection will
identify when Axis is becoming full of dirt.
It can then be cleaned with a water spray extraction method. Axis can be
scrubbed with a machine or by hand along the direction of the infills only. In
cases of staining, household solvents may be used, but must only be applied to
a rag and then rubbed onto the mat. Do
not pour solvents directly onto the mat as a breakdown of the infill adhesive
may result. Only use chemicals suitable for the cleaning of carpets, following
the manufacturer's instructions.
A maintenance instruction sheet is available.
Warrantees
Axis has a 20 year warranty on wear and
performance, stairs excepted, conditional on the product being installed and
maintained according to the manufacturers recommendations.
