Forbo Eternal Vinyl maintains a valid test reports showing a Critical Radiant Flux (CRF) value over 4.5kW/m2 meeting all levels of C3 requirements. Special attention should be given when specifying this product on walls as it achieves a group 3 rating for this type of application
Eternal Vinyl is an acceptable solution for dry and wet level areas with a valid test report showing a Slip Resistance Value of 37. Refer to the Eternal Vinyl Slip Report for further information.

Forbo Eternal Vinyl must be installed by a qualified trades person in accordance with FloorNZ’s Best Practice Guidelines to meet NZS/AS 1884:2013 – Floor Coverings: Resilient Sheet and Tiles – Installation practices and must be installed in accordance with the Forbo Eternal Vinyl Installation Guide. Forbo Eternal Vinyl is to be installed using a permanent adhesive as per the Forbo Eternal Vinyl Installation Guide. Use material from the same batch/dye lot and install in roll number sequence. The use of different production batches will always result in visible shade differences. The batch number is clearly marked on the material packaging and must be checked before commencement of installation. Underlays are not required with Forbo Eternal Vinyl, however Sarlibase Acoustic Underlay is suitable to use if additional acoustic performance is required. If using Forbo Eternal Vinyl on stairs, stairs must have the appropriate stair nosing applied.
