Product Description

Earthy and grounding, combining the natural properties of clay and fine aggregates to create a strong traditional finish that can be highly textured or honed to smooth satin. This traditional polished plaster is ideal for both residential and commercial interior surfaces. SuaveStone is a specialist surface finish suitable for the coating of all absorbent and prepared indoor surfaces such as plasterboard, concrete, brickwork, block work or bonding plaster that are not in direct contact with water.

With its rugged make up, the SuaveStone polished plaster lends itself to more defined textures, such as the large corrugate texture and bespoke combinations with Mica and woodchips. An optional final surface sealer ensures the SuaveStone specialist finish is water and stain repellent. SuaveStone is available in 6 different texture patterns.

Scope of use

Product Use: SuaveStone Polished Plaster is a decorative interior finish suitable for use on new and existing flat, clean and dry surfaces such as plasterboard, cementboard, concrete, blockwork, MDF and primed metal work. Texture can range from subtle to heavy, with a polish level from matte to satin. Not suitable for wet areas. We recommend that you consult our technical adviser for special areas of application.

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

Product Criteria

Design requirements

Suitable for residential, commercial and retail interiors, including cabinetry & furniture. Can be used in bathrooms, powder rooms and kitchens but avoid surfaces directly exposed to water such as shower cubicles/wet areas. A surface sealer is recommended for applications in moisture prone and sometimes in high traffic areas.
