Product Description
Alumat 15DO is an extra heavy duty mat, that is usually installed over a grating to facilitate the removal of surface water. The product is made from aluminium extrusions with alternating industrial textile strips and open draining channels.
Alumat 15DO is capable of extracting continuous running water.
Scope of use
Use is specifically for building entrances that may be subject to surface water that needs to be collected and discharged.
It is generally installed over a grating fitted into a water collection sump that discharges to storm water

Design requirements
Alumat 15DO is an entrance matting product that is made to be part of water extraction system.
It should be installed over a grating to allow water to discharge under the mat where it can be channeled to storm water.

Installation requirements
The matting must be installed on a flat, hard, level surface and at such a height that the matting is flush with the adjacent flooring surfaces.

Maintenance requirements
Daily vacuum cleaning should be undertaken to avoid build up of dirt.
Periodically, an inspection should be made to check for any damage, and build-up of dirt that may require additinoal cleaning.

Warrantees
Alumat 15DO has a 20 year warranty on the aluminium framing, subject to correct installation and regular maintenance, Infills have a five year warranty and can be replaced when required for considerably less than full replacement.
Environmental
Alumat is committed to supporting environmental initiatives and chooses to use aluminium that has been recycled whenever possible. Support is also given to refurbish existing mats, to lengthen the productive of matting systems that have been installed.
