Technical Statement
Product Description
Carcass Ply is a robust mixed light-hardwood plywood panel, finished on both sides with a durable white or black high-pressure laminate (HPL). Designed for high-performance applications, it offers superior strength and moisture resistance compared to traditional MDF panels, making it the ideal choice for constructing kitchen carcasses and joinery in “wet areas” such as bathrooms and laundries. Its solid core ensures excellent screw-holding capabilities and long-term stability, while the HPL surface provides a sleek, low-maintenance finish that is both hygienic and resistant to moisture and wear. Carcass Ply combines durability, functionality, and design versatility, meeting the demands of modern architectural and interior projects.

Product Criteria
Design requirements
Suitable for interior use only and are not recommended in exposed, damp or wet conditions. Panels may warp or expand if not sealed.
Installation requirements
Panels must be installed by qualified tradesmen and handled with care. Prior to installation, the product must be stored inside, off the ground, in a dry, well-ventilated area away from extreme temperature fluctuations. It is important to protect the panels during storage by covering and protecting all parts that can be exposed to damage, light or moisture however, panels must not be left wrapped in a non-breathable material (i.e.plastic) for longer than 4 days. The panels must be stacked squarely on top of one another with a full cover sheet on top to avoid edge discolouration. Panels should not be exposed to natural light when being stored as wood is a natural material and changes over time when exposed to UV-light.
Maintenance requirements
We recommend cleaning the panels when required with a warm damp cloth. Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaners. Clean off any dust that accumulates immediately.
