Product Description
Triton Cloud Pool™ panel is a proprietary high sound absorbing acoustic panel designed specifically for swimming pool ceilings and high-up wall applications. The panels have an acoustic core with a concealed aluminium frame and is faced & edge wrapped in Sonatex™ glass mat composite finish which has been treated with a silicone water repellent spray. The panels are also foil membrane backed for resistance against condensation and moisture.
Scope of use
Triton Pool Panel™ is designed as a free floating acoustic ceiling panel or as a direct fixed ceiling & wall panel. Specifically designed for swimming pools and other moisture laden environments.
Triton Pool™ panels designed for pool environments and are to be mounted to allow free movement of conditioned air between and behind the panels to reduce the risk of interstitial condensation.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1, B2.3.1(c), B2.3.2
- Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.4(a)
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1

Design requirements
Triton Pool Panel™ is a proprietary high sound absorbing acoustic panel designed specifically for swimming pool ceilings and high-up wall applications. The panels can be installed as free-floating "clouds", or direct fixed with proprietary brackets specific for pool environments.
Installation requirements
Shall not commence until the building is water tight and dry.
Light/mechanical fittings shall be independently supported
between panels. Mount panels on direct fix brackets at centres
to suit span (max 2400mm). To maintain free air movement
around panels maintain a minimum 50mm gap between and
behind panels.
Sub-trades not to use panels for support. Panels shall be
installed in areas free of direct contact with water or water
vapour including but not limited to condensation, leaking pipes
and/or ducts or steam which can lead to staining.
Maintenance requirements
Clean with vacuum, soft brush or damp cloth. Re-surfacing
of soiled panels available, consult Asona.
