Tuf tiles™ are a new generation acoustic ceiling tile designed for areas prone to ball impact such as gymnasiums and sports centres and ideal for school halls and public buildings. Tuf tiles™ are extremely durable, won’t chip or crack and are resistant to ball impact up to speeds of 60km/h. Manufactured in NZ from 60% already recycled polyester fibre and engineered for superior sound absorption. Tuf tiles™ are lightweight providing a much safer option overhead particularly in areas prone to seismic activity.
The acoustic performance of this product has been tested and measured by Auckland University Acoustic Services as NRC 0.82 for 14mm thickness. This product has been certified as non toxic and low VOC ceiling tile. May assist in gaining Green Star points. For areas prone to dislodgment, secure tuf tiles™ with FasTLock™ security clips. Available with the FasTLock™ Suspended Ceiling Seismic Grid.
