Compliance Statement
Scope of Use
The 651 system must be used within the limitations specified by Inpro for the particular product configuration.
- The nominal structural joint width must be confirmed against the approved construction documentation and Inpro product data before manufacture or installation.
- The surrounding substrate must be structurally adequate to support the expansion joint system and its fixings.
- The system must be installed onto a level and suitable substrate in accordance with Inpro's installation requirements.
- The 651 architectural joint cover does not determine the required structural seismic gap.
- Structural joint width and movement requirements remain the responsibility of the project structural designer.
- The required movement range must be established by the project structural engineer or other suitably qualified project designer.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)

Notes
B1 Structure: The 6501 Series is designed to accommodate structural expansion-joint movement resulting from conditions including Earthquake movement, Thermal expansion and contraction, Wind-induced building movement, Lateral/shear movement.
B2 Durability: The 651 system incorporates materials designed for exterior use, including aluminium, stainless-steel fixings and weather-resistant composite exterior panels. The composite metal exterior panel incorporates an architectural-grade fluoropolymer coating meeting AAMA 2605 requirements. Periodic inspection and maintenance of waterproofing interfaces, sealants, cover assemblies is required to ensure continued performance.
E2 External Moisture: The 651 Exterior Horizontal Expansion Joint contributes to the external moisture management of the roof/building envelope by providing a weather-resistant expansion joint cover and accommodating compatible waterproofing membranes. JM651 is not, by itself, a complete roofing or cladding system.
