Technical Statement
Product Description
Baffle Beam & Panel™ is a linear beam or panel manufactured from high sound absorbing glass fibre core wrapped in Sonatex™, 2 ply glass mat composite facing. Designed to control reverberation and provide either a linear or cluster aesthetic.
Scope of use
Triton Baffle Beams™ are ideally suited for open plan or corporate offices, corridors, showrooms, galleries, halls, reception areas, atrium's, hospitality, retail and public spaces.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1, B2.3.1(c), B2.3.2
- Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.4(a)
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1

Product Criteria
Design requirements
Baffle Beams & Panels are ideally suited for open plan offices, corridors, showrooms, galleries, halls, reception areas, atriums, hospitality, retail and public spaces.
Open area between baffles for visible plenum, ideal for
security sensitive applications.
Installation requirements
Install the system to AS/NZS 2785 minimum standards. Triton Baffle Beams™ are a finishing trade, installation shall
not commence until the building is water tight, dry and free
of dust and debris. Space baffles evenly as per drawings, To
join panels saw cut ends and use contact adhesive to butt
join. Cap open cut ends with Sonatex™.

Maintenance requirements
Clean using soft bristled brush, vacuum or a damp
cloth.
Warrantees
15 year limited warranty against manufacturing defects,
extendable to 30 years when registered for Asona’s Renew
and Reuse program.
