Manufactured from quality NZ Steel under an ISO 9001 Quality Management System, AS/NZS1170 compliant USG Boral drywall steel stud and track offers practical and economical solutions for screw fixing USG Boral plasterboard to internal, non-loadbearing, partitions, fire and acoustic walls, bulkheads and corridor ceilings.
Dimensionally stable, they stay straight and true, saving on time material and labour. Strong and lightweight they are easy to handle and require few tools to install, and are quick and easy for distribution in multi level projects compared to timber.
Combining with different plasterboards they provide a wide range of fire and acoustical wall options. They are also being increasingly used for suspended ceiling seismic strut bracing as well.
For partition seismic bracing, proprietary bracing systems like Tracklok are readily available to ensure compliance with NZS1170.5 seismic resistance for Parts and Components
