Product Description
Edgetec® Mini Post is a frameless glass balustrade system with a modern and minimalist finish. Mini Posts use a patented pending adjustable clamping system & stainless steel components to top or face fix 12 mm toughened glass panels to decks, stairways, landings or as pool fencing. The system is designed for heights from 1000mm for balustrades, to 1200mm for pool fencing.
Mini Post balustrades are for Domestic & Residential Occupancy types A, A Other & C3 only as per AS/NZ 1170.1.2002. Matching slimline (38mm x 30mm), interlinking top rails fitted to the glass panels ensure compliance with NZS4223.3.2016.
Waterproof and floating decks are accommodated with a specially designed gutter bracket, which allow for the Mini Post system to be fixed cleared of the waterproof membrane.
The Mini Post is custom finished in our NZ factory in a wide range of Dulux powder coat colours.

Scope of use
Edgetec Mini Post Balustrade is suitable
for internal or external settings, including: Domestic and
Residential deck and balcony barriers, stairways, handrails, pool fencing
and matching pool or stairway gates. Including
Residential areas without obstacles for moving people and not susceptible to
overcrowding.
Edgetec Mini Post Balustrade must only be
installed in accordance with the Edgetec Mini Post product manual. Any
deviation from standard fabrication or installation must be accompanied by a
site specific PS1.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

Design requirements
Refer to Juralco Edgetec Mini Post Balustrade specification and fabricators manual for design parameters and tables of maximum spans for wind zone up to and including High wind zone.This specification details the documents the Juralco Edgetec Mini Post Balustrade System refers to in relation to the New Zealand Building Code, the manufacturer's documents, products used in the System, requirements in relation to fixing and surface finishings.
Installation requirements
JuralcoEdgetec Mini Post Balustrade must only be installed in accordance with the Juralco Edgetec Mini Post Balustrade System manual. Any deviation from that specified in the Edgetec Mini Post balustrade manual must only be in accordance with the site specific PS1, with site specific calculations and drawings listing the non standard details.
The Juralco Edgetec Mini Post Balustrade System must only be fabricated/installed by a Juralco approved fabricator.
Warrantees
Juralco Edgetec Mini Post balustrade is warranted for 5 years.Dulux powder coating warranty is 10 years for Duralloy and 20 years for Duratec (surface integrity).
