Product Description
The Edgetec Commercial Balustrade system incorporates all the outstanding qualities of the Juralco residential ranges into the commercial environment, offering semi frameless glass finishes up to 15mm thick.
Edgetec Commercial offers the same wide range of balustrade configurations and handrail choices; with the ability to accept heavier loads. The system is extremely versatile and can be custom made in a range of configurations, then powder coated in a choice of colours to meet most modern architectural requirements.
Compliant with AS/NZ 1170.1.2002 C3, C4 and D and NZS 4223.3.2016.
WARRANT: 5 year product and 10 year powder coat warranty
Scope of use
Edgetec Commercial Post Balustrade is suitable
for internal or commercial settings, including internal and external
balconies, retail areas, stairs and landings.
Suitable for
Occupancy A, B, E, C1/C2, C3 and D Occupancy Types.
Edgetec Commercial Post Balustrade must only be installed in accordance with the Edgetec Commercial product manual. Any deviation from standard fabrication or installation must be accompanied by a site specific PS1.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

Refer to Juralco Edgetec Commercial Post Balustrade specification and fabricators manual for design parameters and tables of maximum spans for wind zone up to and including Very High.
This specification details the documents the Juralco Edgetec Commercial Post Balustrade System refers to in relation to the New Zealand Building Code, the manufacturer's documents, products used in the System, requirements in relation to fixing and surface finishings.
Installation requirements
Juralco Edgetec Commercial Post Balustrade must only be installed in accordance with the Edgetec Commercial Post Balustrade System manual. Any deviation from that specified in the Edge balustrade manual must only be in accordance with the site specific PS1, with site specific calculations and drawings listing the non standard details.The Edgetec Commercial Post Balustrade System must only be fabricated/installed by a Juralco approved fabricator.
Warrantees
