Equus De Boer Duo HT 4
Slates/F C180 Firecare is a 4mm thick flexible, fire-retardant waterproofing membrane used as a cap sheet in a two-layer system. It is composed
of a TPO (Thermoplastic Poly Olefins) plastomer modified bitumen upper coating,
a SBS (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) elastomer bitumen under coating and
reinforced with a composite reinforcement of 180 g/m² polyester and glass
scrim. The membrane has a pre-manufactured overlap of 80mm made of SBS
elastomer modified bitumen. This cap sheet is designed for fire resistant applications and meets European standards ENV 1187 and BS 476-3. Supplied in 1m x 8m rolls. Standard colours available are Grey/White (GW) & White/Green/Grey (WGG). Brown Oxide (BO) & Black
(AGR) available on request. For waterproofing of concrete and plywood flat roofs, decks, gutters, balconies and terraces that can use additional protection against fire and spread of flame. Especially recommended on public buildings such as schools or hospitals.

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(b)
- Clause E2 External moisture: Performance E2.3.1, E2.3.2
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1
Installation requirements
Must be installed by an approved Equus applicator.
Installation of substrates must be completed by a trades person with understanding of roof construction,
Maintenance requirements
The membrane roof system must be checked annually for damage rubbish or debris. Any damage such as small punctures or tears must be repaired by a recommended Equus applicator.
