Product Description

Sika BlackSeal-1 is a one part bitumen based joint sealing compound primarily used for sealing on and around other bitumen based substrates which cannot be sealed with common sealant technologies

Features and Uses

Fully compatible with bitumen based roofing and waterproofing membranes and coatings
Also bonds to many other substrates such as concrete, masonry, timber, metals
Can be applied to damp substrates
Ideal as a bitumen compatible sealant for lap joints, peripheral seals and around penetrations
Also used in conjunction with the BRANZ appraised Sika Blackseal Elastic Tanking System
