The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(a)
- Clause E2 External moisture: Performance E2.3.3
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1
Design requirements
Newton 108 HydroBond-LM is normally specified as part of our Newton HydroBond System in conjunction with
Newton 403 HydroBond, the membrane can also be used on its own, terminating to raft or
strip foundations. Newton 108 HydroBond-LM is very quick to apply, it can be
applied in cooler and damper conditions, and without a primer.
Installation requirements
Newton 108 HydroBond-LM can only be sprayed with a
specialist spray machine.The Newton 108 HydroBond-LM is required to be designed and installed according to the details and drawings described in technical and installation manual, by Newton System’s trained and approved applicators. When used in conjunction with Newton 403 HydroBond
or 403 HydroBond-GB as a full HydroBond System, overlap by a minimum of 150 mm. Installation temperature +5 to +35 ºC.
Maintenance requirements
Newton 108 HydroBond-LM is
extremely puncture resistant, with high elasticity and a 95% recovery memory. The membrane is not hard wearing and should be
protected during back-filling.
Warrantees
Correctly installed and fully and permanently isolated from UV light and physical damage or wearing, the Newton HydroBond 108-LM will provide, under normal service conditions, a durable waterproof barrier for the life of the building to which it is installed. The expected life time of the building itself should be at least 50 years. Please note that this is not the guarantee. The waterproofing guarantee is provided by the specialist waterproofing applicator who installs the product.
