Prolam PLX Column is a glulam structural bracing column, manufactured in New Zealand from Pinus radiata to AS/NZS 1328. Delivering up to 130 bracing units in a single compact member, it provides high bracing capacity in minimal wall lengths — suitable for open plan layouts and large openings where wall space is limited. Tested to BRANZ P21 (2010) and third-party verified. Compliant with NZ Building Code. Specified with a PS1 Producer Statement. Delivered as a build-ready kitset with prefabricated column and foundation connection. Can be cut to length on site.

Treatment
H1.2 KD — interior use only. Not for exterior use. Treated to NZS 3640. Meets NZBC B2 50-year durability within the building envelope.
