Product Description
Scope of use
The
Marquess brings a taste of England to your balcony. Designed initially for
Ryman Healthcare, this has proved popular also on projects where the heritage
is needing to be upheld.
Care
homes, hotels, heritage designed apartments.
Aluminium
barriers should be designed in accordance with AS/NZS 1664.1:1997 or tested
to comply with AS/NZS 1170.0:2002 Appendix B.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B1 Structure: Performance B1.3.4(a)
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(a)
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.3(a), F2.3.3(b)

Installation requirements
Installations
must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s and engineer’s specifications.
Consideration
needs to be given to the durability and compatibility of materials in contact
(barrier material, fixings and fixing substrate) prior to installation.
