The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause E1 Surface water: Performance E1.3.1, E1.3.2, E1.3.3, E1.3.3(a), E1.3.3(b), E1.3.3(c), E1.3.3(d), E1.3.3(e), E1.3.3(f)

Installation requirements
ACO DRAIN
grated trench drain systems must be
encased in a concrete surround. A minimum concrete compressive strength of 25
MPa to NZS 3104 is recommended for the concrete surround. Refer to
the standard installation drawings for minimum dimensional requirements for the
concrete surround.
Specific site conditions may require an increase in these
dimensions or reinforcement. Ensure the concrete encasement is designed for the
application. Engineering advice may be required.

Maintenance requirements
Please see http://www.aco.co.nz for all maintenance advice.All grates are removable and regular cleaning and removal of debris is advised to maintain the channel function.

Warrantees
ACO Limited’s guarantees/warranties for the products supplied are stated on the ‘Standard Conditions of Sale’ in Clause 12 Guarantee.
The following is an extract, Clause 12.2:
“ACO will repair or replace any of the Goods or parts thereof in respect of which any defects arise from faulty materials or workmanship or (subject to clause 12.1 above) from ACO’s failure to supply Goods of the quality or specification ordered and are notified to ACO in writing within 6 months of the date of delivery provided all Goods have been paid for:
”The attached ‘Standard Conditions of Sale’ should be read in full.
Note, guarantees/warranties in regards to the installation of ACO products must be sourced from the installer.
