Scope of Use
Lead the vision impaired to Hazard / Warning Tactiles to warn as:
- Life threatening hazards where serious falls may occur, such as at railway platforms, wharves, vehicular driveways and exits from car parks, etc., which intersect access paths
- To indicate that a point of importance has been reached, such as the location of a bus sign or tram stop or the location of a change of direction on a pedestrian crossing island or as wayfinding to signify the location of a change of direction while traveling
- At the top and bottom of stairways and ramps warning of a change in level.
- At pedestrian crossings to indicate the path of travel

The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

Design requirements
Designed to be very durable with a visible solid thermoplastic polyurethane. Engineered for accessibility to lead and guide the visually impaired to hazard / warning tactile.
Installation requirements
Drill and Friction Fit in accordance to New Zealand Standards. Complete Installation requirements is available upon request of Freedom Strategies Ltd client.
Maintenance requirements
Regular Cleaning:
- Remove dirt, debris, leaves, and other foreign materials from the tactile indicators regularly. Use a broom, brush, or a leaf blower to clear the surface.
- Periodically wash the surface with water and mild detergent to remove stains and accumulated grime. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the polyurethane material.
