Gorilla Firecryl Acrylic Sealant

Product Description

Gorilla Firecryl Acrylic Sealant is a fire-resistant, smoke tight (with heat load intumescent) plasto-elastic sealant based on acrylic dispersion.

• Prevents the passage of fire and smoke
• Intumesces when exposed to temperatures higher than 120°C.
• Can be painted over after curing
• Very easy to apply
• Colourfast and waterproof after curing
• Very good adhesion on porous surfaces
• Acoustically rated for sound deadening applications

Scopes of use:

• Specially for indoor joints where high demands for a fire rated sealant are required
• Linear joints in fire retardant constructions in buildings and housing
• Perimeter pointing round door and window frames, concrete and brickwork
• Joints between walls and ceilings
• Joints around pipe and cable tray – Refer to applicable report www.soudal.co.nz.
• Joints between walls and ceilings or floors (plasterboard and other substrates) where an acoustically rated sealant is required to have STC (Sound Transmission Class) of 60.
