Residential and Commercial Interior floors, in dry and wet level areas.
Coral; Grip HD & Grip MD are suitable for use in exterior applications.
Commercial Very Heavy Duty Use - class 33.
Recommended for use at least 1.8m in from every entry/exit of a building. 3m is recommended.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:

Forbo Coral has a product warranty of up to 5
years depending on product placement and is
produced in accordance with ISO9001:2015 Quality
Management Systems and ISO14001:2015

Forbo Coral maintains a valid test report showing a
Critical Radiant Flux (CRF) value over 4.5kW/m2

Coral is considered an acceptable dry and wet slip
solution and is compliant for all access routes as
per the D1/AS1 Table 2. Coral achieves a SRV of 59
and has a R12 rating making it suitable for use on
ramped areas and in entrances and exits. - Clause E3 Internal moisture: Performance E3.3.3, E3.3.5, E3.3.6
Forbo Coral is easy to clean, impervious and
water resistant.

G3.3.2 Forbo Coral is allergy friendly, has low

For IIC, a field test with the subfloor and ceiling
assembly needs to be performed to ensure the
IIC value of 55 is reached for each individual
project application.

The installation of Coral Entrance Matting should be carried out in accordance with NZS 1884-2013
“Resilient sheet and tiles laying and maintenance practices.” and must be installed by a qualified
trades person in accordance with FloorNZ’s Best Practice Guidelines and installed in accordance
with the Forbo Installation Guide. Coral must be cleaned and maintained as per the Forbo Coral
Entrance Matting Cleaning and Maintenance guide.
When ordering material each floor area must be specified from the same batch. Rolls and cuts
should be stored horizontally. Coral sheet products should always be fully adhered. The
recommended adhesive for use with Coral classic, brush pure, brush blend, welcome, grip and duo is
AF2365 or UZIN KE2000S. There is an arrow indicating pile direction on the reverse of every
backed sheet product. The direction of manufacture of Coral duo is not the traffic direction – ensure
the ribs are running at right angles to the walking direction. Remove the 2.5cm edge border plus an
additional 1cm to provide a suitable edge for butt jointing.

Coral Brush and Coral Classic are available in modular format, 50x50cm tiles.
Rolls come with a 2.5cm edge on either side in the following formats;
205cm x 20m for Coral; Duo, Welcome, Luxe, Brush and Classic.
127cm x10-15m for Coral; Grip HD & Grip MD.
There are also custom formats available on request.

Installation requirements
