Design Guidelines

Laminex Innovations Metallics are ideal for walls, doors, feature panelling, room dividers, exhibition stands & shopfitting (displays, stands etc).  Other uses include fireplace & kitchen hoods, lift linings & many other areas where a metallic look is desired.

Metallic finishes are recommended for light duty interior applications only. They are not recommended for heavy usage areas such as worktops, bars, tables, kitchen splashbacks or kick boards. Laminex Innovations Metallics are not heat formable & are not recommended for areas of high humidity such as bathrooms or laundries as exposure to moisture for prolonged periods can cause corrosion of the metallic surface and/or delamination.

Laminex Innovations Brushed Stainless steel is a high-pressure laminate resistant to solvents, chemicals and household reagants & has an extremely hard wearing surface. It is suitable for both vertical & horizontal applications such as feature panelling, benches, table tops, bar tops, and doors.

Scope of use

Laminex Innovations Metallics are suitable for interior vertical use only in applications such as walls, doors, feature panelling, room dividers, exhibition stands and shopfitting. Laminex Innovations Metallics are not recommended for heavy usage areas or in areas of high humidity such as bathrooms or laundries.

Laminex Innovations Brushed Stainless Steel is suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications such as feature panelling, benches, table tops, bar tops, doors, exhibition stands and shopfitting. It is not suitable for exterior use.
