Scope of use
Renew™ is ideal for commercial building owners and facility
managers who wish to upgrade their suspended ceilings in
offices, healthcare and educational facilities, retail etc
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.4(a)
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1

The product meets the requirements set out in the following documents, or relevant parts of cited standards within the documents:
Early Fire Reaction - Group: 1-S, NZBC verification method C/VM2,
Appendix A. Suitable for fire exit way and all other sprinklered & non
sprinklered buildings.

Asona Renew™ is a proprietary service that renews soiled,
stained or damaged acoustical ceiling panels without the time,
financial and environmental costs associated with replacement.
Installation requirements
Ceiling panels are resurfaced on site or removed to Asona’s factory for resurfacing with new Sonatex™ acoustic facings or vacuum laminated with washable vinyl film for hygiene areas
Maintenance requirements
Clean with a vacuum, soft brush or damp cloth
Warrantees
15 year limited warranty against manufacturing defect.
Environmental
Reduces construction waste going to land fill.
Renews and reuses suspended ceiling panels.
Helps minimise the buildings carbon foot print.
Extends ceiling panel usable life cycle time.
Made locally so transport and embodied energy costs are
low compared to replacement with new imported panels.
