                                                                                                GMSSD30 Guidemaster Tactile Ground Surface Directional Indicator – A Heavy Duty Stainless Steel with Yellow Carborundum leading tactile indicator, recommended for indoors and outdoors, commercial carparks, footpaths, shopping centres, hospitals, schools – any public spaces requiring accessibility treatment. 
Lead the vision impaired to Hazard / Warning Tactiles to warn as: 
    - Life threatening hazards where serious falls may occur, such as at railway platforms, wharves, vehicular driveways and exits from car parks, etc., which intersect access paths
 
    - To indicate that a point of importance has been reached, such as the location of a bus sign or tram stop or the location of a change of direction on a pedestrian crossing island or as wayfinding to signify the location of a change of direction while traveling
 
    - At the top and bottom of stairways and ramps warning of a change in level.

                                                                                            Design requirements
                                                                                            Designed to be very durable with a visible 316 marine grade stainless steel with Yellow Carborundum.                                                                                             Maintenance requirements
                                                                                            Regular Cleaning: 
    - Remove dirt, debris, leaves, and other foreign materials from the stainless steel and carborundum tactile indicators regularly using a broom, brush, or a leaf blower.
 
    - Periodically wash the surface with water and mild detergent to remove stains and accumulated grime. 
 
    - Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the stainless steel or carborundum.
 
    - Pay special attention to the carborundum inserts, as dirt and grime can build up in the crevices and reduce their effectiveness. You may need to use a toothbrush or other small brush to clean the inserts thoroughly.
