Product Description
Scope of use
Best used inside or sheltered outside locations. Extremely hard wearing anodised exterior grade alloy is guaranteed to last for 20 years, and can be refurbished as required to look and perform as new. Easily replaceable infills can keep mats many years old looking new.
For very wet locations, or excessive water removal, see ALUMAT 15D and 15WD which are designed to contain water or integrate with drainage systems without under mat soiling or flooding.
New Zealand Building Code (NZBC)
The product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the building code:
- Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(c)
- Clause C3 Fire affecting areas beyond the fire source: Performance C3.4(b)
- Clause D1 Access routes: Performance D1.3.3(b), D1.3.3(d)
- Clause E2 External moisture: Performance E2.3.3
- Clause F2 Hazardous building materials: Performance F2.3.1

acceptable solution exceeding minimum slip resistance of 0.4 when dry and

Use in Service History
ALUMAT uses a rigid rib polypropylene infill product manufactured by Vebe Flooring Coverings, which is part of the Netherlands Condor Group.
The particular product has been used throughout Europe and beyond for many years and we manufacturer for use here In New Zealand for properties throughout Australia, the Pacific and the Middle East.

Design requirements
Alumat 15 I is the ideal choice where an attractive extra heavy duty entrance mat is required for a mat well inside and entry, or in a sheltered exterior position.
Installation requirements
Floor surfaces are to be clean , dry and level to receive the
mats. In matwells or recesses created by surrounding tiles, the mat may
be placed in position.

Maintenance requirements
Daily vacuuming should be carried out to keep the mat looking and performing well.

Warrantees
Alumat15 I frames have a 20 year warranty that the alloy frames will be able to be refurbished with new infills, to look and perform as new, subject to correct installation and regular prescribed maintenance being carried out.
Environmental
All of the products used are manufactured by companies that have
demonstrated their commitment to the environment and have been appropriately
certified.
We have selected aluminium that is designed to withstand wet
conditions and can be reused after refurbishment if in suitable
condition. Our heavier grade extrusions AL15I, 15D and 15WD are
guaranteed to be able to be reconditioned for the first 20 years of their life.
